1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy covers the Puzzlume Android app (package in.moonera.railnest) and this Puzzlume information website, provided by Moonera. For privacy questions, contact Puzzlume@moonera.in.
The app information below describes version 1.2.0. We will update this policy when our practices change.
2. The short version
The current Android app does not collect or transmit personal data to Moonera. It has no internet permission, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or remote account service.
Puzzlume is free to download. It contains no in-app purchases, paid hints or subscriptions. This does not mean that your network provider or Google services have no separate charges or policies.
3. What stays on your device
The app stores progress and preferences in its private local storage so you can continue playing:
- RailNest levels, route arrangements, active boards, moves, hints and best stars.
- Crossword puzzle order, letter arrangements, found words, hints, bonus words, completion and earned points.
- Slide Puzzle boards and move records; Memory Match sessions and attempt records.
- Appearance, sound, touch feedback, reduced-motion settings and your last game.
- If you play Daily Crossword: puzzle dates, saved sessions, daily points and completion history.
Daily Crossword retains up to 366 played-date sessions and uses your device’s local calendar. This is a local history, not an online profile or leaderboard. Compatibility files from retired games may remain after an update until you clear app storage.
4. Information the app does not collect
Moonera does not receive your gameplay, words entered, scores, advertising identifiers, contacts, photos, microphone recordings or location from this app. The app has no account registration, cloud login, chat, advertising or analytics service. We do not sell gameplay data or share it with advertisers.
5. Android backup and Google Play
Android may back up or transfer eligible app data depending on your device, Android version and Google/device backup settings. These services are handled by your operating-system or backup provider; they are not a Moonera account or cloud-save service. Moonera cannot view or remotely delete those backups.
Google Play may independently process installation, update, device or diagnostic information under its own policies. This is separate from data transmitted by the Puzzlume app. See Google’s Privacy Policy ↗ and your device’s backup settings.
6. This website and support emails
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, cookies or browser storage. It loads its styles, scripts and artwork from the same website. Ordinary website hosting may process request information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and request times for delivery and security. Hosting log retention depends on the hosting service’s configuration; contact us if you need details.
If you email Puzzlume@moonera.in, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and troubleshoot issues. Email and hosting providers may process that information to provide their services. Please do not send passwords, identity documents or unrelated sensitive information.
Support messages are retained only as needed to handle the request, maintain necessary correspondence or meet applicable obligations. You can request removal of support correspondence by email; we will explain any necessary retention. Links to Google Play, Google help and Moonera’s main website take you to services with their own practices.
7. Your choices and deletion
You can change game preferences in Settings or erase local progress through Android’s app-storage controls. Clearing storage permanently removes local progress, points, preferences and locally retained daily history. This website cannot access or erase your phone’s app storage.
There is no Puzzlume account to delete. For complete steps, including backup considerations, visit Data & deletion. For support-email deletion requests, contact us from the address used in the correspondence.
8. Children and privacy
The current app does not ask players for a name, age, email address or other personal details, and has no chat, public profiles or behavioural advertising. Parents and guardians can manage the app and backups through their device settings. If a child has sent personal information to our support mailbox and you would like it removed, please contact Puzzlume@moonera.in.
9. Security, changes and contact
Game saves use Android’s app-private storage. Device security, screen locks and backups remain under your control. No storage or communication method can be guaranteed completely secure.
We will update the date on this page when this policy changes. If future app features introduce accounts, online services, advertising or different data practices, the policy and relevant app disclosures will need to change before those features are released.
